Photo Edits

I was playing around on my phone a few nights ago and editing some photos so I deiced that I would share them with you!

I'll list the app I used to edit them before each series of photos.

VSCO Cam edits:

My main focus for these photos was working with contrast and exposure in black and white.

Pixlr Edits:

My goal was to play around with double exposing a picture. I wanted to create a 3-D effect so I edited the black and white photo to may a red and a blue.
The top photo is red photo as a base with the black and white in the middle and the blue layer on top. The bottom photo is the black and white photo as a base with blue layered in the middle and red on top.

BlendIt Edits:

I played mostly with different levels of intensity. I also tried to match the colour of the overlays with the colours in the photo so the two would blend well. The top three are coloured photos and the bottom two are black and white. I found that the black and white blend better with the overlay than photos in colour.
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers xo

Happy New Year!

I hope your New Years was great! I spent the night with my parents, and I couldn't have asked for a better night. We went out to see"Into the Woods" and it was phenomenal! Then we wanted the ball drop, drank champagne, ate lots of food, and toasted the new year. It was really great.

And toady I'm ringing in the year with a big personal change. But shhhh, it's still a secret! One that I'll post about tomorrow.

As for today I'm going to update you on the last week or so.

This is just a general cat update lol. Look at the size difference between my biggest cat Taz, and my smallest Oliver. It's just too cute!

And these beauties have been growing in my backyard!

I finished crocheting this beanie over the weekend! I actually finished it in about a day. It was so much to make and believe me, I'll be making more!

And I have to finished off with this beautiful sunset I saw at the park the other day.

As for my New Years Goals:
I want to treat everyday like a new opportunity. I want to enjoy life and live in the moment. I'll be focusing more on my self and self development. I'll find the happy moments in everyday and work towards keeping a more a positive attitude. 2015 is the year I'll change for the better. I'll go exploring and reach outside of my comfort zones. I want to read more and learn more, educated myself. I want to be healthy, learn to eat well and workout not to loose weight but strengthen myself. And I want to fill my heart with love.

These are my 2015 goals.
Cheers xo
